How to Report an Answer Key Discrepancy
Our math generators utilize strict algorithmic invariants, but edge cases can occur across tens of thousands of problem combinations. If you find a problem where the generated solution differs from your calculation, please provide the following three details in your email:
- The Generator Name: E.g., Multi-Digit Subtraction with Regrouping or Long Division with & without Remainders.
- The 6-Character Worksheet Seed Code: Printed in the top-right header and bottom footer of your worksheet (e.g.,
#3F81A9). This allows our developers to reproduce your exact problem set deterministically. - The Problem Number and Equation: The specific problem number (e.g., Problem #7: $402 - 189 = 213$) and the observed discrepancy.
With the seed code, our automated test suite can isolate the exact random generator state in seconds and deploy a correction to our build pipeline.
Feature Requests & Generator Ideas
We prioritize new generator types based on real educator demand.
